This is a big season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. As they transition to the first year of the Bruce Arians era, many members of the team have a lot to prove. Mike Evans got a five-year extension last offseason, and he delivered in a big way in 2018.

He set a career-high in yards, and averaged an eye-popping 17.7 yards per reception, also a career-high.

With DeSean Jackson gone and traded to the Eagles, Evans will be under immense pressure to replicate the performance in 2019. Jameis Winston is being given one last shot to prove he can be the franchise quarterback, and he'll need the most out of Evans to do so.

Evans will be the center of the offense and a lot will fall on his shoulders, but the experts over at ESPN's fantasy page, think Evans is going to regress a bit in 2019. Last year, Evans had 1,524 yards and eight touchdowns. For this upcoming season, they project him to have 1,331 yards and six touchdowns.

While it could be assumed he'd have even more production with Jackson out of the way, it's not an unreasonable take. Defenses will be keying in on him all year and throwing the kitchen sink at him.

Chris Godwin, the promising third-year player, will also be getting more run with Jackson gone and will be seeing more targets.

O.J. Howard, the tight end the Buccaneers drafted in the first round in 2017, will also be competing for more of Winston's attention. Still though, it's hard to be too down on Evans' prospects.

Arians taking over means the Buccaneers will be playing very fast, as Arians' Cardinals teams were always among the league leaders in plays being run.
