With Tom Brady leaving the New England Patriots for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, you best believe there will be some wild fallout. Your dad will now change his favorite team, gambling experts will likely reset odds, and aliens from Mars are now more likely than ever to refrain from visiting planet Earth.

Something like that. Probably minus the aliens, but definitely involving gambling folk.

In fact, by way of the fine folk over at PFT, the Buccaneers are now better favorites to win the Super Bowl than the famed Patriots. To be fair, the Pats currently don't even know who in the heck will be their starting gunslinger next season, so this could change.

Nevertheless, this is obviously a quick reaction to a legendary QB changing teams. Tom Brady, arguably the greatest player at the history of his position, is coming off a ho-hum season (relative to his own standards). He's getting up there a bit in age, making it curious as to why many people believe he'll be better next season than last.

While not a doctor, the wisdom I have on the human body rests in common sense. People who age tend to get less better at things that require great feats of athleticism. Then again, it's not like Tom Brady will be asked to run the triple veer by the Buccaneers. Maybe he'll age like wine.
