Earlier today, allegations arose that Buccaneers WR Antonio Brown was using a fake vaccination card. But Brown's attorney is saying that isn't the case, according to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport.

Rapoport tweeted that he spoke with Brown's attorney Sean Burstyn personally. Burstyn said that the Buccaneers wide receiver is vaccinated. He even went as far as to tell other people to “Be like Antonio Brown and get the vaccine,” Rapoport reported.

The original allegations came from The Tampa Bay Times, which released an article Thursday evening. It states that “Brown obtained a fake COVID-19 vaccination card so he could avoid NFL protocols.” The article cited Steven Ruiz, a former live-in chef for AB. He said that Brown's girlfriend texted him looking to buy a fake vaccination card back in July. According to the chef, her texts said that Brown was willing to pay $500 for it.

This fell through when Ruiz was not able to supply the false card, but he told The Tampa Bay Times that days before Buccaneers training camp, Brown showed him fake vaccination cards he bought for himself and his girlfriend.

It is currently unclear whether or not he did use a fake vaccination card up until this point, if he ever had a fake vaccination card, if he has a real vaccination card, and if he is actually vaccinated.
