For those unaware, Tampa Bay Buccaneers journeyman quarterback Blaine Gabbert is the most underrated player in the entire National Football League.

Wait. Don't close out this tab yet. This isn't my opinion. It's that of Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians. Don't believe me? Here's the proof, pal!

“I could get extremely excited about having another young quarterback and going to war with one,” Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians said. “I’ll be honest with you. I’d be excited to take Blaine Gabbert to war because I love Blaine Gabbert. I think he is the most underrated player in the NFL. So yeah, when it’s not fun, then it will be time.”

The actual podcast was mostly about whether or not Arians plans on retiring soon. He doesn't, but that's how we ended up with the Gabbert conversation, as it leads to the idea he'd still be willing to go at it with the Buccaneers if Tom Brady ever retires.

I say “if” Tom Brady ever retires because that man might play until decades after the world ends. Dude is like a combination of a vampire and zombie and someone too handsome. WHY DOES TOM BRADY HAVE ALL THE COOL THINGS?

Anyway, it's the year 2021. Going back the last 14 or so months, sure… why the heck not. Life is been weird enough. Let's consider Buccaneers backup Blaine Gabbertt the most underrated player in the NFL.
