The Tampa Bay Buccaneers came up short against the Los Angeles Rams after nearly making an incredible comeback. It wasn't enough, and now Tampa Bay finds itself out of the running for Super Bowl 56. Additionally, Tom Brady's future in football is now in question, and Bruce Arians just weighed in after Sunday' loss.

According to James Palmer of NFL Network, the Buccaneers head coach is leaving it up to Tom Brady to make his decision. There have been numerous rumors of the GOAT hanging it up after this year. However, he has mentioned before he'd like to end his career with another Super Bowl victory.

It has been a long, tenured career, as Brady has been the winningest player in NFL history. It's hard to imagine seeing anybody else match his Super Bowl ring count. The current Buccaneers quarterback is a walking, living legend and will be in the Hall of Fame soon enough. If he decides to retire, he'll have a historic career that will be difficult to match.

Even so, there's always that chance Brady returns. He has claimed before he wants to play until he's 45. As of now, the Buccaneers quarterback is 44 and turns 45 in August. With that in mind, Tom Brady may opt to return to see his goal all the way through.

This will be a story that dominates sports media. There is no question of his greatness, but the Buccaneers will either have Brady back under center or be playing a different quarterback next year. Either way, Tom Brady has done more than enough to earn respect around the league. If he chooses to return, Tampa Bay will welcome him with open arms.
