With a win against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers can become the first team to play the Super Bowl in their home stadium. However, Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians isn’t thinking about the possibility of his team making history just yet.

When asked about the possibility of playing in Super Bowl XV, which will be held at the Raymond James Stadium on February 7, Arians said that the Buccaneers aren’t thinking about it and are only focused on the team they’ll face next.

“We don’t play that game this week,” the 68-year old mentor said, via NBC Sports. “That’s the message to everybody. We play the Packers in the NFC Championship Game. You start thinking about the Super Bowl, you’ll get your ass beat and you’ll be packing your bags on Monday.”

Arians is aware that before Tampa Bay can even think of playing at their home stadium in the Super Bowl, they first have to focus on the trip to Lambeau Field, where they will play the Packers.

The Buccaneers face the daunting task of trying to slow down Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay offense, which is coming off a convincing 32-18 win over the Los Angeles Rams and their top-ranked defense in the Divisional Round last week.

The Buccaneers, meanwhile, stunned the New Orleans Saints in their own Divisional Round game, 30-20, to arrange the clash against the Packers. They defeated Green Bay handily in their previous meeting this season back in Week 6, but they will be facing a red-hot Packers team who are poised to win.
