The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are just 3-7 in what has been another miserable season for the franchise, but head coach Bruce Arians is thinking positive for the rest of the way:

“Win them all,” said Arians about the Buccaneers' remaining six games, according to Fred Goodall of The Associated Press. “You can’t win them all until you win one.”

Tampa Bay got off to a respectable 2-2 start this season, but since then, it has lost five of its last six games, most recently falling to the New Orleans Saints by a score of 34-17 this past Sunday.

Arians thinks a big problem is the Bucs not taking advantage of opportunities early in games, and he takes responsibility for that:

“This team, we have a gift habit,” said Arians. “We keep giving away points early in games and then try to fight our way back. … It’s been a habit, and it’s one that we have to break, no matter whose fault it is. It’s frustrating as a coach because I see us practicing and preparing extremely hard. Guys are staying extra hours to prepare, but then it’s not showing up on Sunday. And for me as a coach, it’s my job to figure out why. That’s kind of where we’re at right now.”

Arians is in his first year as head coach of the Buccaneers and is trying to reverse the direction of a franchise that has been struggling for over a decade.

Tampa Bay has not made the playoffs since the 2007-08 campaign, representing the longest active drought in the NFC. During that span, the Bucs have posted just two winning seasons.

The Buccaneers will take on the Atlanta Falcons next Sunday.
