Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver DeSean Jackson may want out, but new Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians is doing everything he can to convince Jackson to return for the 2019 campaign.

“Hey, just come back, brother,” Arians told TMZ Sports when asked about Jackson. “I love you. I know how good you are. I've been playing against you forever.”

Jackson has not been happy in Tampa Bay for quite some time.

Earlier during the 2018 campaign, the wideout reportedly requested a trade, and in December he sold his house in Tampa. However, Jackson is on the Buccaneers' books for next season, so it's not like he can just walk via free agency.

“He's under contract,” added Arians, who has a face-to-face meeting schedule with Jackson next week. “I love him. We'll just see how this thing goes.”

Jackson had one of the least productive seasons of his career in 2018, catching just 41 passes for 774 yards and four touchdowns while playing in just 12 games due to a thumb injury.

The 32-year-old signed with Tampa Bay in March 2017 and has been a massive disappointment ever since arriving, as he registered just 50 receptions for 668 yards and three scores during his first season with the club.

Jackson, who played his collegiate football at the University of California, was originally selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round (49th pick overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft.

He played the first six seasons of his career with the Eagles, making three Pro Bowls before moving to the Washington Redskins in 2014.

He spent four years with the Washington Redskins before signing with the Bucs.
