After a slew of changes this offseason, Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Cameron Brate believes the team is going to succeed expectations for 2019.

It has been an offseason of change for the Bucs, who hired former Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians to lead their new squad.

Tampa Bay made moves in free agency, signing linebacker Deone Bucannon, defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, wide receiver Breshad Perriman, and safety Kentrell Brice. The team also re-signed running back Peyton Barber.

The team also parted ways with longtime defensive tackle Gerald McCoy and wide receiver DeSean Jackson.

In the 2019 NFL Draft, Tampa Bay went defensive heavy, drafting LSU linebacker Devin White with the fifth pick, along with three defensive backs with their next three picks.

Arians comes into this season with a tall task, changing the career path of quarterback Jameis Winston, who has struggled to find his footing in the NFL.

Winston was benched at the start of the season in favor of journeyman Ryan Fitzpatrick. Winston has thrown 58 interceptions in 54 games.

The Buccaneers also do not have the luxury of being a favorite in their division, with the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers all vying for a spot in the playoffs.
