Hello, Odell Beckham Jr. Your starring role in one of the latest NFL featured social media films has nothing on the newest one.
Like OBJ's “in the bed with pizza” video, Tampa Bay Buccaneers young cornerback Vernon Hargreaves can now tell a similar story. In the following video that was released originally on Instagram, Hargreaves is on tape smoking an unknown item blowing massive amounts of smoke towards the camera.
Why man…why…
Vernon Hargreaves 🤦🏻♂️

Technically, it's unclear when the video was taken and exactly what he's smoking, but most human beings understand that cigarette smoke cannot be inhaled and released like that. Hargreaves appears on camera as the only individual with hoodie, smoking and bobbing his head to music while the video plays as silent.
That's the technical version. The logical explanation is something completely different. In fact, the logical version matches up with the reality that a sizeable chunk of the league partakes in this very same activity. The only difference is only a handful get caught via league rules and only those rare few get caught redhanded like Hargreaves and Beckham Jr.
In fact, what an athlete does in his personal life is completely up to him. As long as he's not hurting himself and/or breaking the law, the choice is theirs to make. When it becomes a team and/or league issue is when the player finds himself in much-deserved hot water.
Hargreaves is now swimming in hot water thanks to this recent video revelation.
In addition to the on-screen theatrics, Hargreaves went with this caption:
I put a lil ice on the flex.
Again, it's a quote that separates technicalities from reality in pure fashion.
Hargreaves, 22, is still extremely young for a two-year NFL veteran. Drafted 11th overall in 2016 by the Bucs, he's yet to put together a solid season in Tampa. Most would actually argue that he's struggled overall, especially considering his draft position.
Expect statements and/or reactions from both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization and the National Football League on this one.
