Chase Young and the Washington Football Team came up just short against the Tom Brady-led Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Wild Card weekend, but that doesn't mean that the Washington fan base should be upset.

The Football Team went from the second worst team in the NFL to a playoff team in only one year.

How did that happen?

Coaching changes, some key offensive additions, and most importantly, Chase Young.

Young, who went second overall in the draft, was the team's most explosive playmaker on the defensive side of the ball. The Ohio State phenom led all rookies in sacks, forced fumbles, and fumbles recovered this season.

After clinching a playoff berth, Chase Young was running off the field yelling ā€˜I want Tom!ā€˜ looking forward to his first playoff matchup against Tom Brady and the Bucs.

Chase Young never got to Tom during their game but made sure to see Brady after the game to exchange some words with the GOAT.

Chase Young's first time playing Tom Brady was probably an out of body experience. The youngster made sure to tell Tom Brady that he was the GOAT after the game to show his appreciation for greatness.

Besides, who wouldn't want to exchange jerseys with Tom Brady after their first playoff game?

Although the result didn't go exactly the way Chase Young and the Football Team had hoped, it's good to see that their defensive leader is in good spirits, showing maturity and leadership at such a young age.

Chase Young was named a defensive team captain late in the year and it is well deserved. Young proved to be Washington's catalyst on defense through his relentless pursuit of the quarterback.

This year Brady got the edge, but maybe next year it will be Tom asking Chase Young for his jersey.
