Tampa Bay Buccaneers star linebacker Devin White suffered a quad injury in Monday's big win over the New York Giants and his status was in question for Week 12 as a result. However, it appears he won't be out for long.

White returned to practice on Thursday ahead of a crucial Week 12 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Via Rick Stroud of The Tampa Bay Times:

This is massive news for the Buccaneers because White has been one of their best defenders this season. While it's not the end of the world if the LB did miss a game, they undoubtedly need him for Sunday because of just how deadly the Colts are on the ground with Jonathan Taylor showing out on a weekly basis. The Indy running back is wreaking havoc in 2021, leading the NFL with over 1,100 rushing yards.

White was a non-participant in Wednesday's practice but evidently felt good enough to return to action on Thursday. This is certainly a positive sign that he will suit up in the coming days. The Buccaneers possess one of the better defenses in the league and White is a big part of that. He leads Tampa with 87 total tackles and also had four tackles for loss.
