If, by chance, you find yourself ordering a drink for Tom Brady at some point in your life, here's a word of advice (that you should already know): don't make it a Fireball shot.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski was asked about his favorite off-the-field memory of his long-time teammate, and he shared a particularly specific, on-brand response.

“I would just say going to a Kentucky Derby and seeing him take a shot and, like, just seeing his face after … in disgust like, ‘I’m putting this alcohol in my body?’” Gronkowski said, via Chris Mason fo MassLive. “Takes a shot and he’s like, ‘Ohhh, how am I gonna throw next week?!’”

Fireball, if you are luckily unaware, is a ghastly concoction that claims to be cinnamon-flavored whisky.

It's unclear if this was the same rowdy Kentucky Derby at which former Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker dropped Molly and made $50,000.

Gronkowski, 31, came out of retirement to re-join Brady with the Bucs for the 2020 season. In his first year in Tampa, the five-time Pro Bowler (and definite Fireball consumer) had 45 receptions for 623 yards and seven touchdowns.

In nine seasons catching passes from Brady in New England, Gronkowski had four 1,000+ yard seasons, scored 86 TDs, and won three Super Bowls.

Ahead of the Bucs' first playoff game since 2007, the tight end said his body feels “really good”, but his focus is on the present rather than the future.

“It’s just the start of the playoffs right now,” he said when asked about returning for another season in 2021. “There’s always a time for that and I’d say it’s about — the time to think about that is about after the season and then it’s about four or five weeks after the season. That’s the grace period for it, so as of right now I am really just focused on Washington, on the football team that we’re playing.”

Tom Brady and the Buccaneers (11-5) will face the Washington Football Team (7-9) at FedEx Field on Saturday night.
