Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston could set NFL history on Sunday, and it wouldn't be a good record to hold. No NFL quarterback has ever thrown 30 interceptions and 30 touchdowns, but if Winston throws the ball to the Falcons twice, he will hold the record.

It has been the continued story with Winston this year, so it would be kind of fitting if he hit the milestone. Winston has been one of the more dynamic quarterbacks when he is completing passes, but too often he is completing passes to the other team.

After Winston threw three interceptions in the Buccaneers' last game against the Houston Texans, he said it's something he can't continue to do.

“I can’t do it,” Winston said of his 11th career game with at least three interceptions, the most in the NFL since he entered the league as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2015 draft via Bay News 9. “I have a snap-and-clear mentality, but I just can’t (throw interceptions).”

Texans' safety Justin Reid pointed out how impressive it is that the interceptions don't seem to bother Winston's play as the game continues.

“He’s a gunslinger. He’ll throw a pick, and on the very next play, he’ll throw a fade,” Reid said of Winston. “It doesn’t bother him. He’s going to throw the ball down the field on the next play.”

It's good that Winston can clear his mind after an interception, but it would be better if he didn't turn the ball over in the first place. He wouldn't have to worry about clearing his mind because he is already making the right decisions.
