The Tampa Bay Buccaneers emerged victorious in the sweepstakes for Tom Brady, spelling the end of Jameis Winston's tenure with the franchise. Despite being replaced, Winston took some time to thank the Tampa Bay organization on Twitter.

Even before Brady signed with the Buccaneers, it was well-documented that Winston's time in Tampa Bay was nearing an end. But when Brady signed on the dotted line, it officially sealed Winston's fate with the Buccaneers.

Nevertheless, he appears to be taking the decision with class and is hoping to sign with another team soon. Also, with the Super Bowl taking place in Tampa Bay in 2021, Winston believes the Buccaneers will be playing in it next season. At the same time, he infers that he'll be on the opposing team when the Super Bowl kicks off next February.

When watching Winston, there's no doubt that he's a talented quarterback. However, his decision-making has been a questionable aspect of his game since being drafted No. 1 overall in 2015.

This past season, Winston put together a peculiar season with the Buccaneers, throwing for a career-high 5,109 yards and 33 touchdowns. Unfortunately, at the same time, he managed to throw a career-worst 30 interceptions.

After a flurry of moves in free agency, there aren't many teams that are still searching for a starting signal-caller. Therefore, it could be an uphill climb for Winston to get another opportunity to start in 2020.

But at 26 years old, Winston should begin to draw interest despite being turnover prone thus far in his career. Regardless of where he lands, Winston is confident that he'll get another chance in the NFL next season.
