According to Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter, quarterback Jameis Winston will return and start on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

“He's healthy. Jameis is healthy. He's good to go,” Koetter said Wednesday in a press conference with the media.

Coach Koetter said that Winston was back at practice on Wednesday and took most of the first-team reps at quarterback over Ryan Fitzpatrick.

“He took a majority of the reps out there today. He threw the football fine, his arm strength is fine,” Koetter said of Winston. “I don't think any guy that plays a skilled position like that, where timing is involved, is going to take three weeks off and be perfect on the first day.”

Winston missed the Buccaneers' last three games with an injury to his right shoulder, but he has gradually progressed after each week while Fitzpatrick started in his place. In eight games this season, Winston has completed 61.4 percent of his passes for 1,920 yards with 10 touchdowns and six interceptions.

On Sunday, the Buccaneers will get to face a reeling Packers team that has also been bitten hard by the injury bug. Green Bay, who started off the season 4-1, has lost five of its last six games after superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers broke his right collarbone against the Minnesota Vikings.
