Tampa Bay Buccaneers halfback Leonard Fournette has shockingly been listed as inactive ahead of the Bucs Week 6 contest against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday (via NFL Network's Tom Pelissero).

Leonard Fournette was apparently set to play against the Packers following an ankle injury that has limited his action in past weeks. His status was upgraded from questionable as he was shifted into the lineup merely hours ago, but that since has changed.

He saw little to no action in Week 5 against the Chicago Bears, playing only one snap throughout the game. The 25-year old running back first sustained the ankle injury against the Denver Broncos in Week 3. He completed 15 yards off seven carries during the contest. With Leonard Fournette out, expect LeSean McCoy and Ke'Shawn Vaughn to get an increase in snaps against the Packers.

McCoy hasn't been able to generate a lot of success in the backfield throughout the season with Leonard Fournette hurt. That unfortunate streak may continue, with Tom Brady set to cement his legacy once more with a dominant passing game. He's completed 64.3 percent of his passes this season for 1,375 yards along with 12 touchdowns. After having a sluggish start to the season, his production has increased.

Running back Ronald Jones II will look to continue his production that he's generated the past two games against Green Bay, with Leonard Fournette out of the picture. Jones rushed for more than 100 yards in both Weeks 4 and 5.

The Bucs are 3-2 as they go into battle against the undefeated Packers, winning all four of their contests. Leonard Fournette will watch without a uniform or pads on.
