The tragedy of Hurricane Ida has wrecked the city of New Orleans over the past couple of days. Questions remain about the start of the season for the New Orleans Saints after the hurricane struck, and players, owners, and others are doing their part to help out. Among them is Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette, who is donating $100,000 to the city of New Orleans.

A nice gesture from the New Orleans native and an LSU legend and the Buccaneers back wants to do whatever he can to help out the city of New Orleans. Others have joined in, including Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank, who announced he is pledging $1 million to relief efforts for Hurricane Ida.

Saints owner Gayle Benson also donated to the cause, and the city is in desperate need of help once again after yet another tragedy in New Orleans. The hurricane has caused some concerns with scheduling as Sean Payton said that they are searching for a place to play their games and might not be back in New Orleans for some time.

Either way, the Buccaneers star is doing his part to help out in any way possible to the city where he was born and raised.
