The Tampa Bay Buccaneers got some unfortunate news as they have found out that Mike Evans has joined the reserve/Covid-19 list.

Fortunately for the Buccaneers, they have already clinched the NFC South so losing him for a game or two won't do the team much harm. They obviously want to get the number one seed in the conference but they are taking on the New York Jets and the Carolina Panthers in the next two weeks of the season so there shouldn't be too much of a worry of them losing either of those games.

Mike Evans is one of the best wide receivers in all of football and even though the Buccaneers are taking on two opponents that they will easily beat without him, it will be much more difficult without having Evans there. At the end of the day, their biggest concern is making sure that he is 100% healthy for the playoffs because they're going to need him if they want to repeat as champions.

On the season, Evans is having an impressive year. He has 64 receptions for 899 yards and 11 touchdowns. He will probably miss out on having 1,000 yards in the regular season this year due to potentially missing the next two games but if he can come back for the second game, there is still a great chance that he can have over 100 receiving yards in just one game.
