The Tampa Bay Buccaneers stomped on the Philadelphia Eagles during their Wild Card playoff matchup on Sunday. Mike Evans turned in a huge performance, tallying 117 yards on nine receptions with a touchdown. After the game, Evans was asked about what team he wants to play in the Divisional Round, and he had a perfect response. Via ESPN's Jenna Laine, Evans said that he wants to play “whatever team plays the most man coverage.”

Well, that's about as straightforward of an answer you can get. Evans is not concerned with who the Buccaneers are pitted up against the in Divisional Round, so long as it's a team that prefers to play man-to-man rather than a zone defense. Evans is one of the most difficult receivers to guard in single coverage, something the Eagles learned the hard way on Sunday.

After getting a taste of some man coverage on Sunday, Evans clearly is looking for more as the Buccaneers continue their playoff run. If he gets another favorable matchup next weekend, expect Brady to be looking his direction virtually every play. Evans had his way against the Eagles, and if another team tries to throw some man coverage at him next week, we could be in line for a very similar result.

An opposing defense's best bet against a guy like Evans is to play zone and ensure he's rarely given the chance to make a play in one-on-one coverage. Failure to do that could result in another huge game for Evans and the Bucs.
