The Tampa Bay Buccaneers stomped the Philadelphia Eagles all the way out in the Wild Card round, winning 31-15. The score doesn't show what a dominant performance this was for Tampa Bay.

Tom Brady picked apart the Eagles defense to the tune of 28 completions in 36 attempts, 265 passing yards and two touchdowns. Mike Evans did most of the damage, recording nine catches, 117 yards and a touchdown. Evan's nine catches broke the Buccaneers record for most catches in a playoff game.

Evans took the record from Warrick Dunn, who set the record over 20 years ago. He is making a great case to be considered the best wide receiver in Tampa Bay history. With his performance today and his 1,000-yard streak that remains unbroken, he is putting together a stellar career that is still far from over.

The Brady-to-Evans connection will be a huge part of the Buccaneers' offense moving forward with running back Leonard Fournette dealing with a hamstring injury. If the injuries that Pro Bowl offensive lineman Tristan Wirfs and Ryan Jensen suffered today linger, Evans will become even more crucial.

The Buccaneers' will have another home playoff game next weekend but their opponent for the next round will be decided based on the outcome of the two other NFC Wild Card games. They will head into that game charged up after their resounding win.
