Tampa Bay Buccaneers newest player defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is very excited to get to work with defensive coordinator Todd Bowles and head coach Bruce Arians. Suh is still enjoying his vacation in France and celebrating his engagement but still took time to talk to the Tennis Channel at the French Open.

“I’m very excited,” Suh said via Pro Football Talk. “I actually had the opportunity to talk very deeply with coach Todd Bowles, as well as Bruce Arians, two elite coaches that I’ve had great interactions with in years past. I like being part of things you can build, and be able to put them over the top. Hopefully my talent, as well as all the other guys — former Nebraskans, Lavonte David — we can play together and change the game there, and get us to a winning situation.”

Coach Arians is known as a no-nonsense type of coach and during his career, Suh has been a headache to some coaches. The relationship is good now and hopefully, Suh is a good veteran leader that focuses on football and not the other things that have gotten him into trouble before.

Last year it was easy for Suh because the Los Angeles Rams were winning and there were a lot of other big personalities on the team.

This year Suh is replacing a big personality in Gerald McCoy but it would be better off if he just tried to blend in like and just be another guy on the team.

If the Bucs are winning that's most important and everyone should be happy.
