The rivalry between Tom Brady and Peyton Manning lives on, despite the fact that one is playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and another is commentating on such games.

Manning took his chance on his live broadcast to take a shot at Brady over his offseason rant against the NFL's new leniency towards jersey numbers. The Bucs QB expressed his disdain for the news by sarcastically asking the league why to have any rules to begin with.

Manning loaded up a sarcastic remark of his own, claiming that the Bucs QB is probably smart enough to figure out how to cope with the change by studying his opponent's numbers.

“[Brady’s] worrying about guys getting confused about who to block. My advice would be just to study that week that number six is the middle linebacker, Tom. And something tells me you’ll know how to do that and figure it out,” Manning advised to the Bucs QB.

“I think it’s great letting these guys wear different numbers, let them have fun, let them wear single digits. let them wear their college number, their high school number, if they’re having fun the game is going to be fun to watch”

Some part of Peyton Manning definitely misses the action, especially while seeing his peer still performing at a high level for the Buccaneers. While we won't be seeing another Manning vs. Brady classic, at least we'll by able to hear Peyton throw some playful jabs here and there.
