One of new Tampa Bay Buccaneers star quarterback Tom Brady's first introductions to his unfamiliar Florida setting was an accidental breaking and entering of a Tampa resident's home (during lockdown) while attempting to visit new offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich's house. Now Brady's former gunslinging rival in the AFC, retired signal-caller Peyton Manning, is taking time to rag on the Bucs star's slip-up.

While promoting an upcoming celebrity golf charity fundraising televised event (co-starring the PGA Tour's Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson), Manning jabbed at his ex-foe Brady (via ESPN's Jenna Laine).

“The tournament had to be in Florida after Tom’s breaking and entering ‘arrest.' With the ankle monitor, he couldn’t leave the state …”

Brady, Manning, Woods, and Mickelson will tee off on Sunday, May 24, at 3 p.m. ET in Florida at Medalist Golf Club, with the foursome contributing $10 million each for coronavirus relief and adding side bets during play to contribute more towards the charitable fund.

Manning, a two-time Super Bowl champion with the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos, retired after the 2015 NFL season, going out hoisting the Vince Lombardi Trophy as a member of the AFC West franchise in Super Bowl 50.

Brady and Manning have been longtime rivals as they both spent their combined 38 years in the NFL in the AFC — Manning on the Colts and and Broncos and Brady on the Patriots until he departed his original franchise for the Buccaneers this offseason. As leaders for two elite teams during their time in the league together, Brady and Manning frequently met in the postseason, five times to be exact, four of which occurred in the Conference title game.

Next, for the future Hall of Fame quarterbacks, is a charity round of golf for a well-deserved cause.
