The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are doing whatever it takes to repeat as Super Bowl Champions after they brought back every single starter from the team that beat the Kansas City Chiefs in February. With Tom Brady back for at least one more rendezvous, the Bucs are trying to create some more cap space as well just in case they want to add some more talent to their side.

According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the Bucs are trying to restructure the contract for wide receiver Mike Evans.

If the Bucs and Evans can make this work it could pay big dividends in the 2021 season and it would create more than $7 million in extra space.

The Bucs should be the favorites to take home the Lombardi Trophy once again, especially if Brady can play as well as he did last year and if the talented Bucs defense can replicate their success in 2021.

While this isn't a huge move, a little cap space flexibility can go a long way. The Buccaneers kick off the entire NFL regular season on Thursday, September 9, against the Dallas Cowboys, and Mike Evans is one Tampa Bay player who has been heralded for a breakout campaign in 2021, something that would make that team even more dangerous.
