Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has not been in town for very long. However, it appears the impact of his arrival has already started to take full effect after the team revealed its new uniforms.

According to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, Brady has helped the Bucs become the top-selling team in sports:

— More TB merchandise was sold yesterday than the previous 17 days combined
— Sales of Brady's merch spiked over 3,000% day-over-day
— Brady is top-selling athlete across all sports and Bucs are top-selling team

The spike in sales are indicative of the hype the Brady has generated with his move to the NFC South. It is safe to assume that his presence will continue to help drive sales well into the 2020 NFL season.

The prospect of Brady's departure from the New England Patriots was difficult to grasp considering all that he had accomplished in two decades with the team. He provided them with plenty of bang for their buck by giving hometown discounts to the tune of six Super Bowl wins until they were ready to usher in a new era under center.
