Recently hired Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians got a warm welcome from Tampa Bay Lightning fans.

There is a lot of hope in Tampa Bay with their new head coach. After a disappointing 5-11 season the Buccaneers have a two-time Coach of the Year in Arians. He twice led the Arizona Cardinals into the playoffs in 2014 and 2015.

The fan base shared its excitement for their new coach at a recent Lighting game.

There has yet to be a coach that can capitalize on the offensive potential of quarterback Jameis Winston. While in Arizona, Arians won with Carson Palmer running the show. They are two completely different players, but they both are ultra talented.

Arians will be joined by offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich and quarterbacks coach Clyde Christensen in trying to get to Winston's upside. The 25-year-old quarterback has shown signs of stardom that the new coaching staff will hope to tap into.

This is a job that Arians is truly excited about. Following the 2017 season where he went 8-8 with a questionable quarterback situation, Arians retired from coaching. He has settled into doing some broadcast work for the 2018 season.

When Arians took over the job in Arizona in he went 11-5 and finished second in the NFC West in his first season. The year before he took the reigns, the Cardinals finished third with a record of 10-6.

The Buccaneers will likely need more than just one year to turn things around, but the fan base is excited for the Arians era.

They are giving him a warm welcome in hopes he will return the favor by taking Winston and company to the postseason and beyond.
