Bruce Arians and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are heading into the playoffs for the first time in 13 years, but that doesn't mean they will be satisfied with just participating.

Ahead of their Week 17 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons, the Buccaneers head coach reiterated the team's “Super Bowl or bust” mentality. He further noted that nothing has changed for the team, emphasizing that they have always been entering every season to win it all.

“That’s what we expect to do,” Bruce Arians said, via Pro Football Talk “Our first meeting every year, our goal is to win the Super Bowl. . . . [T]hat is our goal every year. I don’t shy away from it.”

While the Buccaneers have one game left before the postseason, Arians acknowledged that their fight begins on Sunday against the Falcons. The 68-year-old tactician highlighted his desire for the team to win the game, finish with an 11-5 record and secure the fifth seed in the NFC standings.

“We’re gonna play everybody,” Arians said, per SiriusXM NFL Radio. “Atlanta’s playing so good, there’s no way we could get the lead like we had last week [against the Lions] and rest anybody. But we’re gonna play to win and try to keep our momentum going.”

Arians' desire to get the No.5 seed is understandable, especially since they could face either the Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints or Seattle Seahawks if they drop to No.6. Should they win against the Falcons and get the NFC fifth seed, Tom Brady and Tampa Bay could face the New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys or Washington Football Team in the Wild Card round, per Pro Football Talk.
