Adam Humphries may be out of a job soon, as a new report suggests that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will not re-sign him for the new season.

While there are some people who believe that this move is a great move for Humphries — far better than signing him to a contract — there are others who wonder if, in fact, Humphries will get scooped up by other teams instead.

Mike Triplett of ESPN believes that, when Humphries enters the free agency market, he will be a prime target for the New Orleans Saints.

For what it's worth, NBC Sports believes that the Saints should make pursuing Adam Humphries a priority once he enters free agency, too.

We'd also previously reported that Humphries was being strongly considered for a position with the New Orleans Saints, as well.

“The 26-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Clemson University, went undrafted but ended up landing with the Buccaneers in 2013. Humphries had a relatively quiet rookie campaign for Tampa Bay, catching 27 passes for 260 yards and a score while also returning kicks and punts. The following year, however, Humphries began developing into a legitimate threat in the passing game, snaring 55 balls for 622 yards while reaching the end zone twice.”

Adam Humphries caught 76 passes for 816 yards and five touchdowns last season. It will be interesting to see if he ultimately becomes a Saint.
