The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are beginning a new era, and they have new uniforms to boot.

On Tuesday, the Buccaneers revealed their new threads, marking their first jersey change since 2014:

Tampa Bay made what was probably the biggest splash in free agency this offseason, signing legendary quarterback Tom Brady to a two-year deal.

Brady spent the first 20 seasons of his NFL career with the New England Patriots, winning six Super Bowl titles and establishing himself as the greatest quarterback to ever play the game.

The Bucs were not nearly as successful during Brady's time with the Patriots.

While the Buccaneers did win a Super Bowl during the 2002-03 campaign, they have made just a pair of playoff appearances since. They have also not made a trip to the postseason in 12 years, representing the longest active playoff drought in the NFC.

Obviously, Tampa Bay feels that Brady is the man to change that.

It should be noted, however, that this is not the same Tom Brady from several years back.

Brady will be 43 years old at the start of next season and is coming off of a rather rocky 2019 campaign in which he threw for 4,057 yards, 24 touchdowns and eight interceptions while completing just 60.8 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 88. It marked the first time that Brady missed the Pro Bowl since 2008, when he was knocked out for the season in Week 1 due to a torn ACL.

However, with weapons such as wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, not to mention tight ends O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate, Brady could be set to experience a much more fruitful season in 2020.
