New York Jets rookie quarterback Zach Wilson has pronounced Tampa Bay Buccaneers alpha dog Tom Brady as the greatest player in NFL history. But for Wilson, that's not the biggest thing about the GOAT.

The Jets neophyte said he has a more personal connection with Brady. Because incidentally, they share the same birthday: August 3. In an interview with ESPN, it appeared Wilson is extra proud of the tiny tidbit about him and Brady (via Heavy).

“I mean it’s pretty dang cool. One of the craziest parts is I think I was one in his first year in the NFL so, pretty crazy to think about.”

Brady was born on August 3, 1977. Then exactly 22 years later, Wilson was born. Quite the magical happenstance for the Jets newcomer. Maybe not so much for Brady since he'll be reminded of how old he is. Hey, maybe he can also play for the Los Angeles Lakers.

The 44-year-old Brady continues to be the barometer for every quarterback entering the NFL. Wilson is no different. The former Brigham Young standout will probably circle the date on the calendar when the Jets face the Buccaneers, who are out to defend the Super Bowl crown.

Wilson hasn't been shy in showering praise on Brady, picking him over Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers as the GOAT. He also might've accidentally shaded Rodgers after saying flash isn't as important as winning.

Of course, as we all know, to paraphrase the great linguist that is DJ Khaled, all Tom Brady does is win, win, win, win, win, win, win.
