Since Tom Brady inked his deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, instead of buying a home, he and his family have been living in Derek Jeter's mansion in Florida. But after a few months of taking shelter in Jeter's abode, Brady is closing in on a mansion of his own, per TMZ.

Given the circumstances of the offseason, Brady chose to live in Jeter's mansion (which just hit the market for $29 million) until he and his family could find a house in the Tampa area. While he's a quarter of the way completed in his first season with the Buccaneers, Brady was also spending time searching for a place to call home.

The mansion that Tom Brady is reportedly close to purchasing is estimated to be worth around $7.5 million. Also, the waterfront property in Clearwater, Florida includes five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and three half bathrooms.

Throughout his career, Brady has earned millions of dollars from endorsements and from his playing career. Not to mention, he's married to Gisele Bundchen, who is a supermodel and businesswoman in her own right. Provided that, money isn't exactly an issue for the Brady household.

In his first four games with the Buccaneers, Brady has looked revitalized, throwing for 1,122 yards and 11 touchdowns. Above all, Tampa Bay sits atop the NFC South with a 3-1 record and will look to improve upon their record on Thursday versus the Chicago Bears.

With Tom Brady reportedly purchasing a home, that could go to show that he's already confident he will remain in Tampa for the rest of his career. On the other hand, at least he doesn't have to pay rent to Jeter anymore.
