At this point, it feels like Tom Brady is just busy being the cool uncle we never had. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers star is back to his normal self after his viral tantrum during their embarrassing loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 15.

The Buccaneers bounced back in a big way on Sunday with a 32-6 obliteration of the Carolina Panthers to clinch the NFC South. In contrast, Brady's former team, New England Patriots, suffered a crucial 33-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills. To make things more interesting, albeit unknowingly, a reporter asked Patriots coach Bill Belichick after the game what his New Year's resolution was.

When asked to react to this rather awkward scene, the 44-year-old Brady had the perfect response (via Joey Knight of Tampa Bay Times).

“I want to be as brave and courageous as she was, asking that question to coach Belichick after a loss. That's what I want for the New Year.”

Somewhere out there, Cam Newton is laughing.

Now that he's had his little bit of fun at the expense of his former coach, Brady will focus on making sure the Buccaneers won't be having too much fun with their cushy position heading into the NFL Playoffs. Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians, however, admitted it definitely feels great to clinch the division title after a long while.

Tom Brady and the rest of the defending champions will look to improve to 12-4 when they take on the listless New York Jets on Sunday.
