Tom Brady hasn't been with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers yet and he's already making his presence felt with his new team. While speaking about the legendary quarterback, Jason Licht said that Brady has had an ‘incredible' effect on Tampa Bay.

“It’s (an) incredible effect on the entire organization and team that goes beyond the players, too,” Licht said via SiriusXM Radio.

“And as far as the team, they’re gonna know what the standard is now. And he’s going to bring the best out of everybody. “You don’t realize it until you leave — I left New England — and you go to other organizations. I went to some great organizations, went to the Super Bowl with some other organizations. But it’s still not the same as being around Tom Brady. Just the effect that he has on everybody, bringing the best out of everybody. “

But not only players, it goes for coaches, it goes for coaches, it for front office, it goes for the business side. I mean, he’s just … everybody has to have their A game at all times.”

Licht was once the director of player personnel for the New England Patriots. He understands the standards that are set with Brady on the roster. Since Brady has signed with the Buccaneers, they are now viewed as a Super Bowl contender in 2020.

As for off of the field, jersey and ticket sales have skyrocketed once Brady chose to join Tampa Bay. Of course, the Buccaneers knew that fans would become more interested in the team if Brady was manning the offense.

It has been 12 seasons since the Buccaneers were a team playing beyond December. As a matter of fact, the last time they were in the playoffs, was when an aging Jeff Garcia was under center.

Now, Licht and the Buccaneers are hoping that an aging Brady can deliver them a Super Bowl.
