On Thursday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially re-signed Leonard Fournette to a one-year extension worth $3.25 million. The running back was the last piece of the puzzle for the Bucs, as they decided to bring back all 22 of their Super Bowl starters for the upcoming season. It's safe to say that the great Tom Brady was pleased with this development.

Brady took to Twitter to share his delight. Unsurprisingly, the GOAT had a pretty hilarious reaction to the matter:

No words from Tom Brady here. All the seven-time Super Bowl champ needed was one Will Ferrell GIF meme to express his emotions. In case you did not know, that scene is from the 2003 classic film “Old School,” which also stars Vince Vaughn and Luke Wilson. That was an epic film, and Ferrell doing his pep talk in his tidy whities was one of many side-splitting scenes in the comedy. If you haven't seen it, we highly suggest that you do in the near future.

There are two important things to note here. First is that the Buccaneers are really serious about defending their crown for 2021. In his mind, Tampa Bay head coach Bruce Arians believe that the best way to approach this is by bringing back as many players as he can from last season's Super Bowl-winning squad.

For what it's worth, the Buccaneers were nothing short of outstanding last season, so it's hard to fault Arians for his logic here.

Second, and perhaps the most important, the one and only Tom Brady has not lost one bit of his comedic genius. While he may throw in the occasional dad joke here and there (after all, he's going to be 44 years old this 2021), all in all, the Buccaneers QB is still one funny dude.
