Despite all the accolades he has received in his legendary NFL career, Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Tom Brady is not losing focus on his goal this 2021 season.

On Tuesday, Sports Illustrated named Brady as its Sportsperson of the Year, adding another silverware to his cabinet that is certainly already full of awards. Brady has since reacted to the major accomplishment, thanking his teammates, coaches and fans for their support.

At the end of his message on Instagram, though, he assured his fans that his focus remains on one thing despite everything he has accomplished: the Super Bowl.

“I’m so honored to have been named the Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year last night,” the Buccaneers star wrote.

“Without the people around me none of this is possible. Everyday I go to work in a building filled with teammates, coaches and staff that put their individual motivations aside to make sure we can accomplish our greater goals as a TEAM. Every single one of them has contributed to my success and this award belongs to all of us.

“That’s enough patting ourselves on the back for now though, we’ve got another Super Bowl run to get ready for!”

This is certainly what Buccaneers fans want to hear. Even at his age-44 season, it's clear Tom Brady still has the motivation and hunger to win it all.

While he recently opened up about the constant pressure he has to endure along with the greatness he has reached, there is no doubt the Buccaneers QB is embracing the challenge of leading his team to victory.

He led the Buccaneers to the Super Bowl title in his first year with them in 2020, so the expectations are high once again that he can replicate such success this time around with basically the same team.

Tampa Bay is currently 9-3 on the season, well in contention for the top spot in the NFC. And based on Brady's outlook, they are certainly well poised to make waves again come the postseason. It will be difficult, but it's never good to count out a team led by a motivated Brady.
