The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made one of the biggest splashes of the offseason after signing free agent quarterback Tom Brady.

Brady is one of the greatest players of all-time, and it looks like he'll be finishing out his career with Tampa Bay instead of his team of 20 years, the New England Patriots.

The Patriots were the only team Brady has ever played with, so he's never really had a “new team.” Which means, no one knows what he'll be like with the Buccaneers. For example, what requests would he make? Would he feel comfortable immediately? Or would some of the quirks that he has received be different elsewhere?

Well, it looks like fans have already found out one of his requests. And it apparently shocked some people in the Tampa Bay organization.

According to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, Brady asked for the number of all of his new Buccaneers teammates.

Brady never asked for control of the offense. He knew that Arians, offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich, quarterbacks coach Clyde Christensen and special assistant Tom Moore would collaborate with him on game plans. He didn’t ask for any specific players to join him. He didn’t even ask to wear No. 12, which for the moment belongs to Godwin.

In fact, there was only one request Brady had after he had signed: He wanted the phone numbers of all his new Bucs teammates.

Now, that really doesn't sound like all that crazy of a request. What probably made it so surprising is that it was the one request he made.

As the article points out, there were a lot of different things he could've asked that people were probably expecting. Control of the Buccaneers' offense, playbook and roster questions and even simply being given the number 12.

Instead, Tom Brady wanted everyone's numbers. This might sound stupid, but it's one of the reasons he's one of the greatest of all-time (if not the greatest). He's just signing and he's already ready to get to know his new teammates and get to work.

It will certainly be weird to see Brady in a jersey that isn't a New England one. However, it appears that's going to be the only difference. He's still the same quarterback who is ready to win.
