Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers took care of business on Sunday as they edged out NFC South champions New Orleans Saints in a 30-20 win in NOLA. Brady has booked his 14th trip to an NFC Championship Game, his first wearing the Bucs' red and white threads.

With all his experience, the 43-year-old Brady believes Tampa Bay needs just two things to overcome the mighty Green Bay Packers when they face off for the conference championship.

“You’ve just gotta have some mental toughness and wear some warm clothes and be ready to go,” the Buccaneers' star QB said, via Masslive.com. “It’s chilly, man. That’s January football in the Northeast, Midwest. We’ll be prepared. The team that plays the best is going to win. Not the team that is the coldest. We’re going to have to go out there and play well. We’re going to be challenged and it’s going to be a great game.”

Tom Brady, who played in warm weather all-season for the first time in his career, is familiar with the Wisconsin climate this time of year. On Sunday, the forecasted temperature at the Lambeau Field will be in the 20s. For context, the weather in New Orleans on Sunday when the Buccaneers won against the Saints was at 57 degrees, which is a little closer to home for the Tampa Bay squad.

It will be the first time that Brady and the Buccaneers will be visiting the Packers' home field this season. These two teams met once earlier this season, which Tampa Bay won at home, 38-10. Since then, the Packers have only dropped two of their 12 outings–including a 32-18 win over the Los Angeles Rams in their recent Divisional Round contest.

Ahead of their tough matchup against Aaron Rodgers and the NFC North champs, Brady is hoping that his Buccaneers continue their hot playoff run all the way to Super Bowl LV.
