Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has an unquenchable thirst for success. The man has seven Super Bowl rings. That's almost as many Super Bowl parades that he attended as Philip Rivers has kids. But that's also why Brady is considered by many as the greatest winner of all time. At 44, though, Brady's time in the NFL as a player is definitely waning, so it's of paramount importance for the Buccaneers to have players around him in top condition. Take for example veteran pass rusher Jason Pierre-Paul, who's turned the head of head coach Bruce Arians, per Scott Smith.

Bruce Arians says he doesn't think Jason Pierre-Paul has been truly healthy since he got here…until now. That's eye-opening.

Jason Pierre-Paul has generally been a durable asset for his teams over the past few seasons. He has played all 16 games in three of his last four seasons. The last time he was seriously hurt was in 2019 when he missed six wgames because of a cervical neck fracture. Last year, he went under the knife to have arthroscopic surgery on his knee in the offseason but recovered just in time to play Week 1 with the Buccaneers in the 2020 NFL season.

Like Brady, JPP is no longer a spring chicken. He is 32 and will turn 33 in January 2021. But there's plenty of gas left in his tank, as evidenced by his play last season when he had 9.5 sacks and a couple of fumble recoveries as part of a Buccaneers team that was seventh in the league in scoring defense.
