Coming into the 2018 NFL season, very few would have argued that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' star wide receiver Mike Evans was one of the top-five players at his position in the league. He has had extremely big productions throughout his career and is an extremely gifted athlete from a physical standpoint.

Tampa Bay started the season strong with big wins over the New Orleans Saints and the Philadelphia Eagles. Those two wins made many fans begin wondering if the Buccaneers could potentially compete for a playoff spot. Unfortunately, they have fallen off in a big way and are currently 3-5 heading into Week 10.

Evans has dealt with some nagging injuries, but it appears that he should be good to go this week against the Washington Redskins. According to a report from Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, Evans returned to practice as the team prepares for the Redskins.

Any time a knee injury comes up on an injury report, there is some level of concern. Evans' injury does not appear to be anything that should hold him down too much.

Throughout the eight games that he has played this season with Tampa Bay, Evans has caught 47 passes for 786 yards and four touchdowns. He has seen fellow receivers Adam Humphries, DeSean Jackson and even O.J. Howard improve their productions.

Evans is headed for yet another 1,000-yard receiving season. He has not finished below that mark in his first four seasons and does not appear to be headed there this season.

Tampa Bay needs to pick up a big win against the No. 1 team in the NFC East this week. If they want to keep pace in the heated NFC playoff race, this week will be a must-win game for them.
