Coming off another frustrating and unsuccessful season in Seattle where he missed a huge portion of their games due to a lingering thumb injury, it's seems as if Russell Wilson may be weighing his options ahead of the 2022-23 NFL season. Wilson has definitely had his fair share of successes with the Seahawks, but they missed out on the playoffs and failed to meet expectations once again this season.

It would be an understatement to say that his frustration with the team has really mounted over the past few seasons. With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers showing interest in the veteran superstar and currently in the market for a new quarterback, this pairing could prove to be an ideal match. On that note, let's take a look at the perfect trade the Bucs must offer the Seahawks for Wilson.

Proposed Trade:

Buccaneers receive: Russell Wilson, Tyler Lockett, Chris Carson, and Carlos Dunlap

Seahawks receive: Kyle Trask, Cameron Brate, Tyler Johnson, Jordan Whitehead and multiple 1st and 2nd round draft picks

In this proposed trade scenario, the Buccaneers would gain a desirable replacement for Tom Brady in Russell Wilson that could keep them competitive in the evolving NFC landscape. On top of that, they'd be getting an explosive veteran wideout in Tyler Lockett to go along with a savvy dual-threat running back in Chris Carson and a feisty defensive end in Carlos Dunlap.

On the flip side of this trade, the Seahawks would gain a promising young quarterback in Kyle Trask who could reel in a new era for them on offense while adding some depth to their passing game in Cameron Brate and Tyler Johnson. Plus the addition of Jordan Whitehead to improve their historically bad pass defense. The Seahawks would also gain a ton of draft capital that would give them the flexibility to make more big moves like this in the future.

This would be a blockbuster trade that would satisfy all parties and inject new life into two franchises that could be looking to start an exciting new chapter. There may need to be more moving pieces involved in this trade for both squads to be fully satisfied with the outcome, but considering how much Tampa Bay and Seattle are giving up in this proposed deal, it should more than enough to fulfill the needs of both teams.

It would also give Wilson a fresh start with a deep and talented franchise while the Seahawks would gain some much-needed help on both sides of the ball and a young quarterback with untapped potential that can be fully unleashed in a starting role. Add to that the excess amount of draft picks they'd  be acquiring in this deal and that should be able keep everyone happy.

Most importantly though, it gives Wilson the ability to join a new team with an upgraded offensive line that can give him the protection he's been seeking for the entirety of his tenure in Seattle while allowing him to finish out his playing career on a contender that has the skill and depth to perfectly complement his multi-faceted style of play. If the Bucs want to go all-in on Russell Wilson and continue to compete for championships, then this is the trade package they must prepare for a potential deal with the Seahawks.
