The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Green Bay Packers on Sunday and, although it was labeled as the matchup between future Hall of Fame quarterbacks, the game featured one of the top running backs in the NFL.

On the daily Locked On Bucs Podcast, hosts David Harrison and James Yarcho answered a listener question about giving credit to the Buccaneers' offensive line or Ronald Jones. While they agreed both deserve credit, Harrison made the claim the Jones is an elite running back in the NFL.

Yarcho: I think it has to be both, right? The more you feed Rojo, the stronger he gets later into games. We see those three-yard gains, just chip away, chip away, chip away. Then inevitably in the fourth quarter, that’s when he’s going to bust one off. Well, when you’re continually calling run plays, you know what else gets stronger down the stretch? The offensive line. [The Buccaneers' line] start mauling the opposing line because that’s what offensive lines love to do. They love to run block. I don’t think you can credit one without crediting the other. They work in tandem with each other.

Harrison: I think the appropriate answer is that it's both but when you look at it, it’s a community effort. There’s a little bit of effort that needs to be given to the coaching staff. [Buccaneers offensive coordinator] Byron Leftwich for calling the run game, getting the ball into Ronald Jones's hands. We’re about a third of the way through the NFL season and this dude is a top-three running back in the National Football league.
