It doesn't look like Antonio Brown is giving up on returning to the NFL after his controversial exit from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but his prospects are looking bleak.

The Buccaneers have already cut Brown and the wide receiver is now a free agent after he cleared waivers. However, his latest action of stripping off his jersey and walking out mid-game in Week 17 doesn't help his case in playing again in the NFL.

While some are already convinced that AB has played his last snap in the league, Adam Schefter of ESPN poured more fuel to that fire as he reported that people around the league are doubtful he'll get another shot at the highest level of American football.

“You can believe his side. You can believe the Buccaneers' side. The fact of the matter is there's a lot of history that's been built up here. When you talk to people around the league, they expressed doubt that he will get another chance in the league,” Schefter said of Brown in his latest appearance on SportsCenter, via Bleacher Report.

Antonio Brown's personality and antics have certainly put him in a bad position moving forward. He has established a reputation as a controversy magnet, and aside from his walkout, there was also his fake vaccination card issue that got him suspended for three games with the Buccaneers.

He had plenty of chances to paint a different narrative, but nothing has really changed.

Of course nothing is set in stone yet and another NFL team might believe that signing AB is a risk worth taking. Nonetheless, it is telling that the first offer Brown got after his exit from the Buccaneers was from the USFL–which, obviously, the veteran wideout didn't like.
