The Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense is already loaded, but one former NFL general manager believes that they could be trying to make one more splashy move, signing Antonio Brown.

Bucs coach Bruce Arians said earlier this offseason that the team wouldn't be bringing in Brown, but former NFL general manager Mike Lombardi believes those feelings have changed.

Appearing on the Pat McAfee Show, Lombardi said he wouldn't be surprised if they make one more splashy move.

“I wouldn’t be surprised if Tampa makes another move,” former Patriots executive Mike Lombardi said on Monday's Pat McAfee Show. “I wouldn’t be surprised now that New England got Cam (Newton), I wouldn’t be surprised if Tampa made another move.”

When McAfee asked if that guy was Brown, Lombardi said to keep your antenna up with the Buccaneers:

“I am thinking they are chipping away,” he said. “… I think there’s some chipping going on down there. I am just saying keep your antennas up.”

On Tuesday, Lombardi doubled down on Twitter after JT The Brick of Mad Dog Sports tweeted that he heard “Business could be Boomin.” He tagged the tweet saying he was hearing the same thing about the Buccaneers' interest.

This an interesting rumor that could make a lot of sense. Tom Brady seemed to be on Brown's side even after everything that went on in the couple weeks that he was a member of the New England Patriots.

Who knows how true this rumor is, but if Brown was on board with the Bucs, that would no doubt be the best wide receiver group in football.

Teams trying to cover the Bucs offense would have issues guarding a three-wide of Brown, Mike Evans, and Chris Godwin.
