Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans is channeling his inner Mike Tyson during his workouts amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Evans has apparently been practicing boxing in the offseason as a means of staying in shape and maintaining good footwork:

Considering some NFL players have struggled finding the means to conduct workouts and weight train, Evans offers an interesting look at potential alternatives for skill position players.

Plus, Evans has every incentive to remain in peak physical form, given he will now be catching passes from Tom Brady.

The Bucs have plenty of talent at wide receiver, as both Evans and Chris Godwin were named to the Pro Bowl in 2019.

Evans remains one of the most explosive wideouts in the game. He eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark for the sixth consecutive season in 2019, averaging 17.3 yards per reception with eight touchdowns.

Tampa Bay has not made the playoffs since 2007. The Buccaneers are hoping Brady can take care of the ball while helping make the likes of Evans that much more dangerous in 2020.

Evans should have no problem maintaining his big-play potential, if the boxing workouts are any indication.
