Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones blasted his way up the middle for a 98-yard touchdown run against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday to extend their lead.

Check out this massive run:

Forced to start their drive from the two-yard line following a booming punt from Carolina's Joseph Charlton, the Buccaneers stationed Jones as the lone man in the backfield, in an attempt to mitigate pressure from a Panthers team looking for a safety.

In breaking his way through the defensive line and streaking for the long score, the Buccaneers running back collected only the second run of 98-plus yards in the last 17 seasons — and fourth overall in league history. Tennessee Titans star running back Derrick Henry is the other player to accomplish this feat over this stretch.

The score also served to make up for an earlier fumble by Jones on the first series of the game for Tampa Bay, which the Panthers promptly turned into a touchdown and an early lead.

The Buccaneers have a 15-point lead early in the fourth quarter thanks to a dominant second-half showing so far. They're trying to move to 7-3 on the season.
