Much has been made of how the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were embarrassed by the New Orleans Saints in Sunday's 38-3 drubbing. While rumors of how the Bucs are currently in shambles have been rife, former Colts punter and current radio/YouTube personality Pat McAfee came to the defense of both Tampa Bay and embattled quarterback Tom Brady.

There was some talk about how Brady and Bucs offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich are currently not on the same page — as proven by Sunday's horrible showing from Tampa Bay's offense. McAfee disputed this claim, as he shared how he believes there are no issues between Brady and Leftwich at the moment.

Brady himself caught wind of McAfee's comments, and was quick to reach out to the latter. Brady took to Twitter to send his appreciation, while also validating McAfee's statement:

On his show, McAfee also expressed how he and Brady are not friends. Nonetheless, this did not prevent the three-time league MVP from literally sending over his own pair of shades to McAffe. Quite a gesture from the always classy Tom Brady.

As for his football, Brady's first shot at redemption will come in the form of a Week 10 matchup against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. The 3-6 Panthers are not exactly lighting it up of late — they are currently on a four-game losing skid — so this certainly presents itself as a great opportunity for Brady and the Buccaneers for a much-needed bounce-back win.

Tampa Bay was coming off three consecutive wins prior to Sunday's blowout against the Saints, and they will hope to get back to winning ways against Carolina on Sunday.
