After Tom Brady's retirement, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were already preparing to be a much different team in 2023. The Buccaneers look to be taking another roster hit, as one of their starting Super Bowl cornerbacks looks to be leaving in free agency.

Sean Murphy-Bunting is visiting the Tennessee Titans, via Ian Rapoport. If all goes to plan, Murphy-Bunting is poised to sign a deal with the Titans. Assuming Murphy-Bunting does follow through on his Tennessee plans, Tampa Bay would need to fill a major hole in their secondary.

The Buccaneers drafted Murphy-Bunting in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He has gone on to appear in 53 games for Tampa Bay, starting 36. He has made 188 tackles, 21 passes defended and six interceptions.

Murphy-Bunting has been a bit derailed by injuries and the emergence of other Buccaneers' cornerbacks such as Jamel Dean and Carlton Davis. He appeared in just 12 games last season and nine in 2021, when he suffered a severe elbow injury.

Still, Murphy-Bunting is just 25-years-old. He has solid starting experience, including in the Buccaneers' 2021 Super Bowl win. As a free agent, Murphy-Bunting was looking for an opportunity to potentially see more playing time. The Titans seem prepared to offer him just that.
