Bobby Portis joined the Milwaukee Bucks' long list of absences on Friday as he entered COVID-19 protocols. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Wesley Matthews, and Donte DiVincenzo are all sidelined due to the virus as well, leaving the defending champions severely depleted.
However, Portis is keeping the good vibes despite not being able to play. He was even hoping that ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski would report that he entered the league's health and safety protocols. When Woj didn't, he received a call-out from the Bucks big man on Twitter:

Damn, Woj. Portis just wanted some clout. To be honest, I think he did deserve it. After all, he's an NBA champion and an integral part of the Bucks' success on a nightly basis.
After proving his worth last season for Milwaukee, the 26-year-old has followed it up with another impressive campaign. Portis is averaging 15.6 points and nine rebounds per night while shooting an impressive 40% from three-point land.
The Bucks are currently 19-12 but if it wasn't for all the injuries and COVID-19 problems, there's no doubt they'd have an even better record. Brook Lopez is likely out for the entire year with a back injury, while Khris Middleton is now battling a knee problem. The biggest loss of them all is Giannis though, who has been in protocols since Wednesday.
The Bucks will be back at it on Saturday against the young Cleveland Cavaliers, who are winners of five straight.
