After playing in the CBA and G League to begin the 2017-18 NBA season, Brandon Jennings returned to the team that originally selected him with the 10th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft. In his return with the Milwaukee Bucks, Jennings had a near triple-double (16 points, eight rebounds, and 12 assists) against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Since then, Jennings has been relatively quiet, averaging 5.5 points and 3.3 assists in 10 appearances. After Jennings' second 10-day contract came to an end against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Bucks have signed him for the remainder of the season according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports:

With Malcolm Brogdon and Matthew Dellavedova out since Feb. 6 against the New York Knicks, the Bucks have been looking for some backcourt help. While Jason Terry has become Eric Bledsoe's primary backup during this stretch, he is 40 years old and in the final stages of his career.

Despite firing head coach Jason Kidd earlier in the season, the Bucks are currently the eighth and final seed in the Eastern Conference (41-35). However, only one game separates them from the Washington Wizards, who are currently the sixth seed.

Although it appears Milwaukee has not lived up to expectations this season, they have dealt with significant injuries like Jabari Parker, who returned a little before the All-Star break and has not played more than 30 minutes.

As Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to carry them by averaging 27.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 4.8 assists, it remains to be seen how far the Bucks can go in the playoffs.
